This was the piece that made our primary bedroom stop feeling half-finished. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially when I see it from the doorway. I was hoping this bed would pull our primary bedroom together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. For me, that makes this bed one of the better choices we made for our primary bedroom.
Among the other furniture in our bedroom, a lot of furniture looks good by itself, but this bed also works with the rest of the room. What surprised me was how easy it was to keep the room feeling relaxed around it, especially when everything is not perfectly styled. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our bedroom.
Looking at our primary bedroom now, the room did not need a full redo; adding this piece was enough to make it feel considered. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
