Here in our bedroom, I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and the bed does that in the space. It works with what we already owned, so I did not feel like I had to rethink everything around it. It changed the tone of the room more than any smaller update could have. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
As part of the guest bedroom, the scale of the room feels better to my eye now that this bedroom piece is part of the arrangement. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
Seen with the rest of our bedroom, even when the room is not perfectly tidy, this bed still makes the overall space feel intentional. The best furniture choices for me are the ones that improve the whole room, and this one does.
