Watching the room come together, this entryway table was the point when the foyer finally started to feel finished.
Instead of making the room busier, this console table gave the hallway a clearer sense of purpose. My partner was unsure at first, but likes the room much more now. It brought some structure to a spot that felt unfinished. So far it has been the rare purchase that looks good and also fits the way the room is actually used. No regrets on this one.
Leaving the room fairly relaxed, the console table gives the space a more finished look without changing its character. The first placement did not quite work for me, but moving it slightly made a big difference. It works nicely as the first piece you see when you walk in. It is noticeable enough to add character, but not so noticeable that everything else has to match it. It has earned its place in the room.
