In the context of my primary bedroom, the room did not need a full redo; adding this dresser was enough to make it feel considered. It has become part of the bedroom without making the room feel overly styled. The room now looks finished even before any smaller decor is added. I went back and forth on where it belonged before everything clicked.
For my bedroom, the dresser turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. I can change smaller things around the dresser without feeling like the whole plan for my bedroom has to change. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
With everything else left as it was, nothing about daily life in the space feels rearranged around the piece, and I like that.
