For this part of the house, the room did not need a full redo; adding this piece was enough to make it feel considered. I wanted the room to feel finished without feeling formal, and this gets very close to that balance.
From one side of my living area to the other, I like that this piece still feels right on an ordinary weekday, not just when the room is cleaned up for company.
