  • Crafted from natural materials, the Carmichael Lounge Chair adds an inviting atmosphere to any room.
  • The beautiful characteristics of rustic oak wood and ludlow sesame leather are emphasized through the chair's double armrest design.
  • As wood is an organic, porous material, these pieces will contain natural variation of texture and may also exhibit fine indentations and cracks.
  • Wood pieces will also display a disparity of colour and grain, and visible knots and burls that add to the character of each piece.
  • Handle with Care: This design has been crafted with 100% leather.
  • Leather is a natural material; as such, colour variations, markings, wrinkles, grooves and light scratches are acceptable and appreciated characteristics.
  • No two pieces are alike.
  • Visit our Product Care page for more information on how to ensure the lasting beauty of this piece.
  • Upholstered in the finest top grain leather
  • Kiln dried solid oak wood frame is reinforced for added durability
  • Comfortable cushions filled with foam and dacron
  • Spring suspension system provides evenly dispersed support

Within my family room, the balance in the room changed for the better once this seat was there. It made the corner feel inviting rather than simply filled. I did not need to change the rest of my family room for this seat to make sense there. My family room feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.

A few weeks in, this seat still feels like the right decision for our reading corner. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.

There is a quiet confidence to this piece that works well in our sitting area.
