Syd Coffee Table

Within the sitting room, the room feels less temporary with this piece in it. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and the change feels noticeable without feeling dramatic. Morning coffee and quiet evenings both feel a little more settled in the room now. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

Here in the sitting room, the piece has been easy to work into this room because the overall design does not feel fussy.

We chose this table after a major clean-out and reset of our sitting room, and the space feels much more intentional now. The timing made the purchase feel especially memorable, but I still like it just as much in normal daily life. I was unsure about the overall effect at first, but after living with it, I like the direction.

Looking at the living room now, the furniture we keep long term is usually the furniture that disappears into our routine, and this table is already doing that. I was aiming for a space that felt finished without looking formal, and the room finally has that balance. For me, that makes this table one of the better choices we made for the living room.
