We finished decorating our living area just before a housewarming, and the piece ended up being the detail everyone noticed. New spaces can feel temporary for a while, and this helped ours move past that stage. It stands out just enough and still lets the rest of the room do its job. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
The best part is that this piece looks intentional in my living area without asking for all the attention.
This was our last purchase after repainting and rearranging our guest room, and it brought everything together. The timing made the purchase feel especially memorable, but I still like it just as much in normal daily life.
