With the smaller details kept simple, I wanted one strong piece without making this room feel busy, and this worked out well. The change is subtle on its own but noticeable in the room as a whole. From different parts of the bedside area, the bedside table still feels like it belongs with everything else. I can change smaller things around the bedside table without feeling like the whole plan for the bedside area has to change. I am pleased with the decision and with how the bedside area came together.
My partner and I had different ideas for our primary bedroom, and the nightstand ended up being the thing we both liked. It feels good when a furniture choice works for the people who actually live with it.
