From one side of our living area to the other, I wanted the room to look collected rather than decorated all at once, and the console helped with that. I am glad I took the time to choose the console.
After living with this piece for a while, I like how natural it feels in our living area. What surprised me was how quickly it stopped feeling like a new addition, especially when I see it from the doorway. The overall effect in our living area is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. The best part for me is that our living area still feels relaxed even with this piece giving it more structure. I like that this piece works with what we already had in our living area instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated.
