Within our bedroom, the scale of the room feels better to my eye now that this accent table is part of the arrangement. What surprised me was how well it worked in everyday life instead of only looking good on its own, especially on a quiet weekday. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
My husband thought we could leave our living room as it was, but even he admits this side table made the setup better. I did not buy it for compliments, but they have been a nice confirmation. This side table is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
The balance in the reading corner changed for the better once this side table was there. I did not need to change the rest of the reading corner for this side table to make sense there.
