There is more cohesion in our hallway now, and it happened as soon as this console table went into place. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. I like that this console table works with what we already had in our hallway instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our hallway needed.
There is a quiet confidence to this console that works well in the living area. The best part for me is that the living area still feels relaxed even with this console giving it more structure. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. The end result in the living area feels like our home, only more finished.
