Compared with the room before, I was aiming for understated, and this coffee table landed in the right place visually. I like that the room still feels relaxed rather than overly coordinated. The best part for me is that the main sitting area still feels relaxed even with this coffee table giving it more structure. I would make the same decision for the main sitting area again.
