The rest of my front room finally makes more sense around this console table. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
The overall look is calmer now that this console table is part of my entryway. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I like how this console table gives my entryway a clearer point of view without taking over. The visual weight feels right to me, and the room still has plenty of breathing space. It makes the entry into the room feel more considered. I would make the same decision for my entryway again.
My favorite thing is how this console makes the front room feel finished without making it look staged. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially when I look at the room as a whole.
