For our primary bedroom, this has become one of those pieces I stop noticing as new because it fits our routine so well. I can change smaller things around this chest without feeling like the whole plan for our primary bedroom has to change. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
Within our guest room, I had a hard time deciding what the space was missing, and this chest turned out to be the answer. I was unsure about the overall effect at first, but after living with it, I like the direction.
I rearranged our living area once before the piece felt completely right, but the final result was worth the extra thought.
