As part of the everyday room, I thought I would mostly notice the look, but what I like is how normal this coffee table feels in our day-to-day life. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and this got us much closer to it.
We chose the table after a major clean-out and reset of our family room, and the space feels much more intentional now. I did not need to change the rest of our family room for the table to make sense there. The change is subtle on its own but noticeable in the room as a whole. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially at the end of the day. I am pleased with the decision and with how our family room came together.
In the sitting room, what I like most about this table is how naturally it belongs in the room. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
In our day-to-day setup, I bought this piece for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in the space. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. I can change smaller things around this piece without feeling like the whole plan for our living room has to change. I am pleased with the decision and with how our living room came together.
