Within our living area, living with the credenza day to day has made me appreciate the decision more, not less. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
In our dining area, the room now gets the kind of compliments that sound like people actually noticed the whole space. I like how this sideboard gives our dining area a clearer point of view without taking over. The piece adds definition, but the room still feels comfortable. I am glad I did not choose something more ornate for this space. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our dining area needed.
I wanted the house to feel lived in rather than staged, and this credenza works well with that idea. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
