I bought it for the dining room, but I appreciate it most during visits from friends because the space just works better. It works just as well on a normal weeknight as it does when people come over.
Personally, I appreciate that the table makes the open dining area look finished but not overly styled.
I was looking for one piece to settle the eat-in kitchen, and this dining table ended up doing exactly that. It feels appropriate for real life, not just for a styled photo. It works just as well on a normal weeknight as it does when people come over. I would make the same choice again.
Walking into the dining room, I notice the space feels much more complete with this dining room centerpiece there. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it.
