In normal use, the seating piece has been an easy addition to the bedroom corner and never feels fussy. We did not need to change anything else around it for the space to work. It adds just enough personality to the room. The brown finish was easy to work into the colors already in the room. I would happily choose it again for the same space.
Near the end of the day, the sitting area feels more settled with this seating piece as part of the setup. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it. I would happily choose it again for the same space.
To my eye, the seating piece gives the sitting area enough structure without making it feel heavy. It gives the space some presence while still feeling easy to live with. I am pleased with the decision.
