As part of my bedroom, I thought I would mostly notice the look, but what I like is how normal the piece feels in our day-to-day life. It has become part of the everyday rhythm of the space. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. I would give it five stars if I had not spent so much time second-guessing the placement.
For our bedroom, the rest of the room finally makes more sense around this piece. I like seeing it in the room during the quiet parts of the day. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. It gives the room a place to pause without making the arrangement feel crowded. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our bedroom.
I bought this chair for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in the living room. I like how this chair gives the living room a clearer point of view without taking over. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially during the ordinary parts of the week. I can change smaller things around this chair without feeling like the whole plan for the living room has to change. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
