For our hallway, there is more cohesion in the space now, and it happened as soon as this piece went into place. I like how this piece gives our hallway a clearer point of view without taking over. I can change smaller things around this piece without feeling like the whole plan for our hallway has to change. The transition through the space feels much more finished. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and nothing around it had to change. This piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
Against what we already had, the overall look is calmer now that this piece is part of this room.
As part of my front room, I thought I would mostly notice the look, but what I like is how normal this console table feels in our day-to-day life. This console table is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
