For the bedroom, I kept the rest of the space simple, and this chest gives the space just enough presence. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and this got us much closer to it. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this chest is part of the bedroom. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and it fits the house better than I expected. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.
In my primary bedroom, nothing about daily life in the space feels rearranged around this chest, and I like that. I like that this chest works with what we already had in my primary bedroom instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated.
