My partner and I had different ideas for our dining room, and this dining table ended up being the thing we both liked. I was aiming for something that felt at home rather than showy, and this got us much closer to it. I did not need to change the rest of our dining room for this dining table to make sense there. What surprised me was how well it worked in everyday life instead of only looking good on its own, especially with the rest of our furniture around it. I am pleased with the decision and with how our dining room came together.
It is surprisingly hard to find furniture that feels distinct without feeling loud, and this table gets that balance right.
