We use my reading corner all the time, and the seat has fit into that routine without making the space feel precious. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. I spent more time than expected deciding on the placement, though I am happy with it now.
From one side of the sitting area to the other, the nicest part is how naturally this seat became part of our everyday use of the space. This ended up being exactly the kind of update the sitting area needed.
From across my sitting area, the chair gives the arrangement a clearer sense of balance. What surprised me is how much better the whole room reads with one thoughtful addition. The piece adds definition, but the room still feels comfortable. The chair is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
