For our family room, the room was close to done before, but this piece gave it the last bit of direction it needed.

Here in the family room, one addition made the space feel much less pieced together, and it was this seating piece.

Within our main sitting area, it is easy to appreciate this seating piece on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in the room. It works with what we already owned, so I did not feel like I had to rethink everything around it. I was concerned the room might feel too designed, but the result is still very livable. I appreciate it most on ordinary nights when everyone is home. I like that the room still feels relaxed rather than overly coordinated. I would make the same decision for our main sitting area again.
