We were still unpacking when the console became part of our entryway, but it immediately gave the space some direction. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.
In our living area, the room feels less temporary with this piece in it. It stands out just enough and still lets the rest of the room do its job. I like that this piece works with what we already had in our living area instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
The room came together right before the holidays, and the console was the finishing touch.
