As part of the primary bedroom, this piece has a natural place in the room now, whether we are using the space or just walking through. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this piece is part of the primary bedroom.
In our day-to-day setup, I wanted the house to feel lived in rather than staged, and the dresser works well with that idea. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
With our existing furniture around it, the room feels comfortable and finished during the most ordinary parts of our week. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. I did not need to change the rest of our primary bedroom for this dresser to make sense there. For me, that makes this dresser one of the better choices we made for our primary bedroom.
