In the context of our primary bedroom, the balance in the space changed for the better once this dresser was there. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy.
Within the guest bedroom, there is something nice about furniture that makes the space feel better without changing how you live in it.
With everything else left as it was, I wanted the space to look collected rather than decorated all at once, and the dresser helped with that. I like how the dresser gives our bedroom a clearer point of view without taking over. It has become part of the bedroom without making the room feel overly styled. I am pleased with the decision and with how our bedroom came together.
