With the rest of the room unchanged, I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and the bed does that in this room. I like that the bed works with what we already had in my bedroom instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet this bed noticeably improved the way the primary bedroom comes together. It gives the surrounding furniture a clearer context instead of competing with it. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the primary bedroom.

With the smaller details kept simple, I kept the rest of the space simple, and this bed gives the space just enough presence. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this bed is part of my guest bedroom.
