In our media area, morning and evening, the piece simply works with how we actually live in the space. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially on a quiet weekday. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
In our living room, I wanted one strong piece without making this room feel busy, and this worked out well. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I notice the improvement most during the evenings when we are all in the room. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. I am glad I took the time to choose the TV area piece.
For our TV room, most days I do not think about the furniture individually, but this media console still makes the room feel more settled. I was concerned the room might feel too designed, but the result is still very livable. The TV area feels much more intentional during an ordinary evening at home. For me, that makes this media console one of the better choices we made for our TV room.
Here in my TV room, the rest of this room finally makes more sense around this TV area piece. I was aiming for a room that felt collected rather than decorated all at once, and the space finally feels finished.
