When I look at our guest bedroom as a whole, one addition made this room feel much less pieced together, and it was this bedroom piece. The best part for me is that our guest bedroom still feels relaxed even with this bedroom piece giving it more structure.
Here in our primary bedroom, my son normally has zero interest in furniture and still had something nice to say about this bed. The bed now feels like the true center of the bedroom, which is what the room had been missing. The change is subtle on its own but noticeable in the room as a whole. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
For the house we actually live in, I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and the piece does that in this room. The space feels more restful and finished now.
