Making the living room feel complete took fewer changes than I expected once this center table was in place. I needed a few days to get used to its presence in the room, and I like it much more now. It has become part of the everyday rhythm of the room. The rectangular shape works nicely with the way the room is laid out. The piece photographs well, but I actually like it more in normal everyday light. I am pleased with the decision.
The nicest surprise is how much the center table improves the den without drawing attention away from everything else. My partner was unsure at first, but likes the room much more now. I am glad we went with it.
From the sofa, I can see how much this center table helps the family room feel visually connected. We did not need to change anything else around it for the space to work.
